I am trying, I really am, to understand the curse situation of the Crescents Wolves

When Marcel put on the curse on the werewolves when Hayley was a baby, why did Jackson (and all of the people in this range of age) was cursed?

I mean he’s really not much older than Hayley, so he was a kid, and Marcel wouldn’t hurt kids

From what I remember or remember making out, the curse was put on the triggered werewolves; but did the untriggered ones were to suffer from the curse once they do trigger it? WHO was cursed? Everyone? Some?

Where did the kids go after their parents were cursed? Did the women tried to get pregnant to not suffer from the curse? Might makes sense since there are younger people?

I also imagined that since some people in the Crescents clan were like werewolf purists or wtv, they could have maybe forced their kids to kill early on to trigger their curse. I mean as a sort of tradition, not necessarily after Marcel put the other curse. I don't know if what I am saying is making sense or not?

The first introduction of the werewolves with Tyler and the Lockwoods was good (Tyler's transition was soooo terrifying), even if we also didn’t get much after. Perhaps the werewolves were one of the rare things TVD might have managed to do better than TO.

Please someone help me to understand it, I don’t know if it’s because I am sick that I can’t seem to comprehend wth happened to them or they really didn’t tell us more

I am still rewatching s1 and barely remembers more about them so please remind of wtv I forgot!
